Party Bot Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what Party Bot stores and how that information is used when the bot is invited to or used in a Discord server.

1. Information Party Bot May Store

2. Message Content

Party Bot may inspect message content only for enabled moderation features, such as blocked words, invite links, regular links, mention limits, or spam windows. Message content is not sold or used for advertising.

3. How Information Is Used

Stored information is used to provide bot features, restore games and records after restarts, enforce configured moderation rules, generate ticket transcripts, post chess logs, manage roles, and keep server settings working.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share Party Bot data with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Information is disclosed only when required by valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, warrant, or other lawful request from law enforcement.

Law enforcement may join the applicable Discord support server and submit a report or request, but data disclosure requires valid legal process before information is released.

5. Server Administrator Access

Server administrators may configure Party Bot to send logs or ticket transcripts to channels in their own server. Members should contact their server staff for questions about logs and transcripts created inside that server.

6. Data Retention

Party Bot keeps data as long as needed for active bot features, backups, chess records, moderation settings, and ticket logs. Some data may remain in backups until old backups are replaced or removed.

7. Accessing or Removing Data

Users may run /my-data for a private summary, /export-my-data for a private JSON export, or /delete-my-data to remove saved profile, Party Bucks, replay, sound-assignment, and chess-record data. Active game state and moderation or security records may remain until their normal cleanup or legal retention period so ongoing games and server safety records are not corrupted.

Server owners may remove Party Bot from their server and may request cleanup of stored server settings or bot-created records. Some Discord messages, channel logs, and ticket transcripts may also need to be deleted directly inside Discord by server staff.

8. Security

Party Bot uses a password-protected moderation panel, optional Discord OAuth login, configuration audit history, and server-side configuration files. Server owners should protect dashboard URLs, panel passwords, OAuth secrets, bot tokens, and hosting credentials.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when Party Bot changes. Continued use of Party Bot after an update means you accept the updated policy.

10. Terms

Use of Party Bot is also covered by the Terms of Service.
